76 - How to make a vision board that works!
Hello My Loves,
1st week of the year! I’ve missed you, and I am dying to know how you entered your new year! Leave me a comment. It’s been a weird one for me. Battling being a small girl who takes big risks is fun, but getting comfortable with uncertainty is a journey I am on. School does not prepare you for running a brand, and all I can say is that if you don’t love what you’re creating, you won’t get far. This year I want Kwezi to be your go-to dress brand from birthdays to special occasions and everything in between. As women with big goals, we need to be able to envision them. That starts here. It’s Sunday, time for some romance. Becoming her. This is how to create a vision board that works.
First, a disclaimer: this process may take a week or two. Sometimes you have goals in mind, but you realise your priorities are changing. That’s okay, there is also a level of delusion that’s realistic. That being said, dreaming big takes a little planning and a lot of prayer. The basis of your vision board should be the facts.

By the facts, I mean the things you know for sure are happening, for example, A trip you have booked in advance, a social event that you attend yearly, or a goal with a deadline.
Next, you need to address the areas you need to improve, which can be anything from your lingerie to your money habits. What things are you serious about monitoring in the new year. What does future you have in order on December 31st 2026?
If you want to experience new things and don’t know where to start, close your eyes and envision the future you in 10 years. What does a day in her life look like? What can you chip away at this year? If it’s travel, where can you go this year? If it’s running, can you start running this year? The aim is not perfection, it’s progress; so make a list and start with just one thing this year.
Lastly, you want to input pictures you can re-create. At the end of the year, you want to be a woman of your word and have evidence of what you achieved, so you don’t ever question the heights you can reach when you apply yourself. Something to be proud of. For You, only.

Your vision board should be yours until the year has gone. Not because of the evil eye, but because you don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Your life is yours.
Make this a memorable year! I’ve put it in list form for reference below,
1. What are the facts? (What events, moments, trips are for sure happening?)
2. What areas of your life do you want to improve (Don’t put down too many, you don’t want to be overwhelmed)
3. What is a wild ‘future you’ thing that you can begin your journey with this year? (What healthy habits do you practice daily in the future, e.g, salads and reading)
4. Input images you can re-create. (From outfits in cities, to you reading)
Use this week to visually manifest your dreams, bestie! Same time next week?
